Goose Island State Park

Join us for a hands-on workshop that will get you ready to go out and harvest your first deer with a bow.

We’ll answer questions about how to use camouflage, what to do with your deer after harvest, and more. Everyone is welcome at this event, and all equipment is provided.

Where: Day Use and CCC Recreation Hall
When: 9am-1pm
How to prepare: Dress for the weather, wear sun protection, close-toed shoes, and bring water.

FYI:
– Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
– Program is free with park entrance ($5/person, children 12 & under are free), or with a Texas State Parks Annual Pass.
– Program may be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
